What kinds of workshops does Creative Roots offer?
We offer hands-on workshops across a range of creative disciplines — from natural dyeing and bookbinding to botanical printing, ceramics, and seasonal family crafts. New sessions are added every season based on community interest and instructor availability.
Are workshops suitable for children?
Many of our workshops are designed for families and can be attended by parents with children aged 6 and up. Each workshop listing notes the recommended age range. Our members-only intensives are generally adults and teens only.
How do I become a Root Member?
Visit our Memberships page to explore our Sprout, Root Member, and Grove tiers. Root Membership unlocks exclusive workshops, priority RSVP for events, members-only content, and a 10% shop discount. You can sign up online in a few minutes.
What is your cancellation policy?
Workshop bookings can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the session for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the session may receive a credit note toward a future booking. If we need to cancel a session due to low numbers or instructor illness, all participants receive a full refund.
Do you offer scholarships or reduced-rate spots?
Yes — we reserve scholarship spots in every paid workshop series. If cost is a barrier, please reach out via our contact page and we'll do our best to find a way for you to join. We believe creative education should be accessible to everyone.
Can I buy a gift membership for someone?
Absolutely. Gift memberships are available in our shop and make a wonderful present for any parent or maker in your life. Gift memberships can be redeemed online and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
